Each year, during Thanksgiving, Neblina Forest organizes the Galapagos Thanksgiving Birding Trip.
Come and join our program, we want to share with you the opportunity to see most of the 28 endemic species of the Islands including Charles Mockingbird, Galápagos Martin, all the Darwin finches -including the super rare Mangrove Finch- along with the chance of snorkeling and discover -first hand- the Natural History of these unique ecosystems.
The Galapagos Islands bear the last unspoiled and pristine ecosystems of the world where animals are tame, because of their recent exposure to human presence. Tremendous global effort of conservation is made to protect them.
"The weather was overcast and windy when sailing and cloudy and misty when inland. However, we were able to find all the Galapagos specialties."

Cherry Throated Tanager & Brazilian Merganser
The Brazilian Caatinga Alagoas,

We are posting this picture of our son Tony and our brand new daughter Daniela.
Tony grew up with Neblina Forest. First he was the waiter at the lodge when he was only 10 years old. He continued to grow with birding as he carried the telescope for Xavier during short birding trips. As he showed his interest for cars, he drove for us and managed the office. But he had his own dreams and is now a very successful General Motors hybrid expert. He has turned on his own path.
